Lightning Academy is a place for any soccer enthusiast who is looking to improve their skills in a fun structured environment, make new friends, and have fun learning the "beautiful game" called soccer. Our goal is to provide athletes with tools to improve and to enjoy soccer for life. Our licensed experienced coach specializes in foot skills training. Lightning Academy will consist of technical training, conditioning, and small sided scrimmaging. Players who keep touching the ball will be better prepared to step on the field and compete.
Cost: $70

Q. Does my child have to be on a Lightning Soccer Club team in order to take advantage of Lightning Academy?
A. No. If you child is gearing up to join any soccer team and is interested in getting individualized personal attention, Lightning Academy training will be helpful.
Q. What is the advantage of registering with Lightning Academy?
A. Team practices are great for teaching children how to run certain plays, and work together as a unit. Lightning Academy enables instructors to develop a player as an individual, and target their specific strengths and weakness.
Q. What types of players can benefit from attending Lightning Academy?
A. All players can and will benefit from individualized, and smaller group training. Lightning Academy is especially ideal for kids who are new to the game of soccer; players that have primarily played recreational soccer, and have not had an opportunity to be trained by experienced skilled coaches; shy players that want to build their skills and confidence; and students who are preparing to try out for school teams or other teams that conduct try-outs.
