The Sandra Ott Memorial Scholarship Fund
Sandra Ott most notable to us as "Sandy" or "Grandma Sandy" was without a doubt one of the largest supporters Lightning Soccer Club had the pleasure of knowing. She was a staple on the sidelines, who not only cheered on and encouraged her grandchildren, but ALL of the kids in the Lightning family. Her kind words, encouragement, and financial support mean more to us than words could ever truly express.
In Memoriam:
Sandy's loving family donated seed funding to start a scholarship fund. Her husband Robert felt that Sandy's support of our vision should continue. Other relatives in her extended family, and members of the Lightning Soccer families have also donated. If you would like to contribute, please make checks payable to Lightning Soccer Club and write "Sandy's Fund" in the memo line. We are happy to send you a receipt.

Eligibility:
We understand that financial complications arise. Often times, extracurricular activities are the first thing to be cut from the family budget. Players who have tried out and show great promise in positively impacting a team are encouraged to apply rather than sit out for the season.
