Lightning TOPSoccer

Lightning TOPSoccer Program is a program specially designed for children and young adults with physical and mental disabilities. Our locally operated program is associated with the National TOPSoccer Program. TOPSoccer is affiliated with Ohio North Soccer and the US Youth Soccer Association.

TOPSoccer Participants

Players are grouped according to size, agility, mobility, ability to comprehend ect... This allows them to experience "The Beautiful Game" alongside their peer group.

TOPSoccer Volunteer Buddies

Volunteers in our program are recruited from area colleges and high schools. Some Buddies will be in areas of study such as physical education, physical therapy, and special education. Area soccer players will also be encouraged to share their passion of the sport. However, anyone interested in participating is encouraged to contact us. 

TOPSoccer Staff

Lightning TOPSoccer is pleased to utilize staff in the fields of not only soccer, but psychology, education, and special education. and the MRDD field to develop and run our program.

TOPSoccer Parents

Parents are not required not expected to participate. We hope that parents who were unsure if their child would ever have an opportunity to socialize or participate in organized soccer can sit back and ENJOY watching their loved one develop, play, and have an all around great time.
